Closed Circuits is Chris Page, a musician and poet from the south-east of England, now based near Tomar. The Quietus has described his music as “thoughtfully sombre, gothic electronic soul,” though he calls it “Apocalypse Pop”.
Since playing in the late, great Glenn Branca’s orchestra, he has released 10 albums, 2 EPs, and appeared on work by Richard Skelton, and early tracks from Planet Mu artist, Basic Rhythm.
Most recently, his poetry has featured in publications by Porto dance company NuIsis Zobop, and he has a forthcoming album called “Weather Warning” formed entirely of percussion and voice.
